In the spring I had the pleasure of working alongside Briar from Epic Events on this beautiful farmers market chic styled shoot in Vancouver. When Briar reached out to me sharing her vision for the shoot, it didn’t take long for me to realize it would be gorgeous and no detail was too small to be overlooked. Inspired by fresh BC food and local markets, stepping into the space you were instantly greeted with pops of colour, fresh produce, herbs and bread. The ceremony had dramatic draping from the high ceilings and a fully decorated rustic bar, dessert table and market fresh vignette (complete with the cutest retro bike) completed the overall look. From the stunning florals and overflowing greenery designed by Nicola Adam Floral to the harvest table displaying a delicious antipasto platter by Culinary Capers, this fresh take on a rustic yet modern theme was beautiful. A few of my favourites from the shoot were the three incredible cakes, each prettier than the last, and the stunning tablescape complete with demi-baguettes wrapped in muslin and tied with cards for each place setting. We’re happy to see this unique styled shoot featured on Real Weddings.

A wedding at the Brock House in Point Grey can be summed up in one word: perfection. It’s always an incredible honour to shoot at the Brock House, it’s one of my favourite wedding venues in Vancouver and it’s easy to see why. Situated directly on Jericho Beach, overlooking the Pacific Ocean with stunning views of the North Shore Mountains, it’s the perfect location to get married and celebrate with family and friends. This early fall wedding last year, with one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, was no exception. Choosing the most spectacular location for their ceremony, framed perfectly by two massive maple trees with the ocean in the background, they said I do in front of an intimate gathering of close friends and family. No detail was forgotten, from the beautiful draped ceremony arch adorned with silver dollar eucalyptus to the absolutely stunning florals overflowing with cafe au lait dahlias and garden roses. Touching speeches, beautiful stories and plenty of tears followed as guests enjoyed an intimate reception under the gorgeous tent on the back lawn. This wedding was truly magical and one I won’t soon forget.

Beautiful sunshine and gorgeous coastal views perfectly describe Chelsea and Eric’s spring engagement photos at Whytecliff Park in West Van. My love for the ocean runs deep so I was happy to be able to share one of the most beautiful locations in all of Vancouver with them last week! We spent time wandering along the beach, taking in the stunning views and capturing these two, who couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Not only do they have impeccable style, they’re sweet and genuine, which makes spending time with them an absolute joy. Chelsea wore the most beautiful flowy maxi dress which floated gently in the breeze and added to the coastal, carefree vibe of their engagement photos. Their engagement session is one of my all time favourites and gazing at these photos, I’m more excited then ever to photograph their wedding this August at the Hart House!
