Ali and Justin are sweet, you can feel their love for each other just being in their company so it’s easy to see they make the cutest couple. I always look forward to hearing proposal stories and Ali and Justin were no different; after thoughtfully choosing a beautiful location along a quiet canal, he gathered a few of her favourite items and set up a beautiful Parisian themed picnic complete with wine and cheese, before asking her to marry him. When we met last month, while chatting over coffee, we realized we share a personal connection; Justin went to school with my husband and Ali went to school with my good friend Stephanie of Sweetheart Events. We shared some wonderful memories and couldn’t help but laugh at a few others.
We met less than a week later in Deep Cove for their engagement session, something they were both excited to do before Justin moved away for Law School at the beginning of this month. Ali’s vision for the session was very coastal having lived in Victoria, she loves the ocean, coastline and harbour dotted with boats. We spent time amongst the boats at the Deep Cove marina and wandered the beach at Cates Park for some beautiful sunset photos. I’m already looking forward to their wedding at the heritage Little White Chapel next summer.
